The Partido Kusog Talisaynon (PKT), the party headed by re-electionist Talisay City Mayor Neil Lizares, his running mate, former three-termer councilor Nicolai Jalandoni, and 10 bets for councilor, filed their Certificates of Candidacy, through their legal team, at the local Commission on Elections Oct. 6.
Incumbent councilors Carl Lizares, William Malan, Randy Ereñeta, Rolin Meliton, RJ Tuvilla, Kenn Thomas Tirthdas, Gabriel Villacin, Gorgonio Treyes III, Daniel Tribaco, and Maris Lizares are seeking reelection in the May 2022 polls.
In a show of support, 3rd District Congressman Francisco “Kiko” Benitez, Abang Lingkod Partylist Rep. Stephen Paduano, and Board Members Manman Ko, Andrew Montelibano, and Ryan Gamboa attended the event. — MML
