Lacson assigns Ferrer as acting guv Mar. 11-15

Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson has designated Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer as the acting governor from March 11 to 15 due to his official travel abroad.

Lacson, in executive order dated March 6, said he will travel to Japan to attend the graduation of Negrense students enrolled in Houshin School of Health Care in Miyakonojo, Japan as well as attend a consultative meeting with the Negrense scholars.

Lacson also designated Third District Board Member Manuel Frederick Ko as the acting vice governor.

To ensure continuous and effective delivery of basic and social services, it is necessary to designate an acting governor and vice governor to assume respective duties and responsibilities, Lacson added. | GB
