Police seized P170,000 in suspected shabu from a 28-year-old man considered as a high value individual in the campaign against illegal drugs in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental Sept. 24.
Suspect Wilbert Dupio was arrested in a drug-bust operation at Ylagan Street in Barangay 6, San Carlos City.
Seized from him were seven heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu, including the buy-bust item, all weighing about 25 grams, P12,000 in buy-bust money, and other paraphernalia.
The operation was conducted by joint elements of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit and the San Carlos City Police Station.
Dupio is now detained at the custodial facility of the San Carlos City Police Station./MML
