As the Negros Trade Fair returned to Glorietta 2 Activity Center in Makati City, its 38th edition continues to champion the best of Negros Occidental.

This year’s six-day showcase, which began Sept. 17, did not only feature a vast array of products and produce, but also the creativity and skills of Negrense artisans.

The opening night earned P9.9 million, besting the P7.3 million earnings of the 37th Negros Trade Fair last year.

The fair again promoted products from former rebel returnees through the Balik Salig Program of the provincial government of Negros Occidental, in partnership with the Association of Negros Producers and the Philippine Army.

Aside from the booths brimming with Negrense delicacies, crafts, art pieces, and products, each day was also packed with shows, artisan demonstrations, screening of local films, and events that drew even more curious crowd and patrons alike.
