The Negros Grace Pharmacy, the leading chain of drug stores operating in the Provinces of Negros and Panay, celebrated its golden anniversary on September 29.
After it started its operation 50 years ago, the company continued to expand to serve the public by providing quality and affordable medicines, and has now more than 70 branches in these two provinces.
As part of the company’s corporate social responsibility, NGP President Ian Manuel Lo has collaborated with local government officials to share whatever blessings they have to people in Negros and Iloilo, who have been affected by the pandemic and other calamities, like fire and typhoons, among others, in the form of cash assistance and food donations.
Lo has donated sacks of rice to the Province of Negros Occidental, as well as other food assistance to several local governments in the province as their way of helping others, who in one way or the other, have helped their company grow and expand.
He also recently donated P1 million worth of canned goods for residents of Bacolod City, who have been badly hit by the pandemic and gave cash assistance to fire victims in Barangay Alijis.
NGP has been consistent in helping less-privileged Bacolodnons even before the COVID-19 pandemic, since sharing is one of the values that Lo has inherited from his parents. – NWI
