GMA Network, through its regional arm GMA Regional TV, brought two of its well-loved shows, Abot Kamay na Pangarap and TiktoClock, to Bacolod City during its 44th MassKara Festival celebration.
Favorite trivia man Kuya Kim Atienza, comedienne and award-winning actress Pokwang, and comedian and impersonator Jayson Gainza, the hosts of original countdown variety show TiktoClock put smiles to the faces of Bacolodnons, and brought exciting surprises and fun treats at the city public plaza last night, Oct. 22, during a Kapuso Fiesta.
Abot Kamay na Pangarap stars Jillian Ward, Ken Chan, and Jeff Moses also headlined a Kapuso mall show Oct. 19 at the Ayala Malls Capitol Central and spread good vibes.
“This is our way of spreading love and sharing happiness, especially to our beloved Kapuso, who never cease to show their unwavering support to the network, its programs, and artists,” GMA senior vice president Oliver Victor Amoroso said in a statement.
The hosts of the TiktoClock echoed Amoroso’s sentiments in a press conference yesterday noon.
They said they hope to provide more entertainment through various segments of the noontime variety show and connect directly with the audience and netizens.
TiktoClock celebrated its first-year anniversary last July. It is a one-of-a-kind show where every minute counts, and features time-limited games, buzzer-beater performances, and varied interactive surprises.
Kuya Kim said the strength of GMA is free television, and the synergy between free TV and social media is the best strategy to connect with and gauge the reaction of studio audience, home viewers, and netizens. | CGC
