Expect fuel prices to go up tomorrow, Sept. 3, with diesel set to increase by P0.10 to P0.40 per liter, gasoline by P0.30 to P0.50/L, and kerosene by P0.40 to P0.70/L.
The exact adjustment will be known today.
This as prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) also increased, starting Sept. 1.
Petron and Solane-branded LPG products hiked prices by P0.55 per kilogram, to reflect the international contract price of LPG for this month.
The adjustment translated to a P6.05 increase for a regular 11-kilogram household LPG tank, while auto LPG prices also went up by P0.25 per liter, as per the Philippine News Agency report.
This is the third consecutive month that companies implemented increments in LPG prices, it added.
The expected hike in the pump prices of petroleum products, meanwhile, is the first for the week, following a decrease of P1.15/liter for gasoline, P1.90/liter for diesel, and P1.85/liter for kerosene, effective Aug. 27.
Total adjustments for gasoline and diesel stood at a net increase of P6.90/L and P4.05/L, respectively, since the start of this year, while kerosene logged a net decrease of P4/L, the Department of Energy Oil Monitor showed. | CGC
