He was 46.

Lacson, who also served as mayor of EB Magalona town, was found positive of the coronavirus and was admitted in a hospital Nov. 30.

Former Board Member Patrick Lacson (right) posted this photo of him and former BM David Lacson, who also served as mayor of EB Magalona in Negros Occidental, tonight, Dec. 3, saying “While I feel sad that you passed away so soon, I’m happy that there is nothing but love between us, not even politics was able to destroy”.

Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson learned of the sad news while he was having a fellowship with the local media.

Lacson said it was only last month, during the birthday of his cousin, Board Member Andrew Montelibano, when David was advised by his relatives and friends to undergo a medical checkup or have himself admitted in the hospital because of cough and hoarse voice. –MML
