Three houses were razed by fire, which also partially damaged another, at Purok Masinadyahon in Barangay Pahanocoy, Bacolod City Wednesday night.

The blaze reportedly came from the house of Regina Pagunsan, according to initial investigation of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

Estimated damage on fire, which lasted for almost 30 minutes, was estimated at P229,770.

Nobody was hurt although three residents were reported to have not been feeling well, the BFP report said.

The area is among the 200 identified red zone areas in Bacolod City that are hard to access in case of fire.

Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez earlier urged the BFP to coordinate with the city government for the mapping of red zones, as he wants to intensify emergency response in those areas. | GB
