General Dionardo Carlos, chief of the Philippine National Police, announced today, Jan. 26, the designation of P/Colonel Atty. Jean Fajardo as his official spokesperson.
Fajardo replaced newly-promoted P/Brigadier General Roderick Augustus Alba, a Bacolodnon, who will assume as full-time chief of the PNP Public Information Office, in addition to his other duties, namely PNP head coordinator with the Presidential Task Force on Media Security, and executive producer of the PNP public affairs programs on radio, television, and social media platforms. Alba is a member of the PNPA Class of 1992.
Fajardo, a member of the PNPA “Kaagapay” Class of 1996, graduated from Jose Rizal University College of Law, and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2009.
She was formerly the deputy director for Operations of the PNP Drug Enforcement Group, former police provincial director of Pampanga, and former chief of the Regional Intelligence Division of the Police Regional Office 3 Central Luzon. | NND
