EB Magalona, Silay PNP top unit performance evaluation

The E.B. Magalona Municipal Police Station and the Silay City Police Station were again adjudged as the best performing police stations in the municipal and city categories, respectively under the supervision of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) for the month of June.

Based on the province-wide Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER), the E.B. Magalona Municipal Police Station garnered a score of 94.77 percent.

The award was received Monday (July 1) by PMaj. Kenneth Jay Gratones, E.B. Magalona police chief, during the kick-off ceremony for the 29th Police Community Relations Month at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City.

E.B. Magalona Mayor Marvin Malacon congratulated the town police for a job well done.

In the city category, the Silay City Police Station remained on top, with an accumulated rating of 96.56 percent.

The recognitions and awards were presented by National Police Commission provincial officer Michelle Benitez Yotoko, assisted by provincial director Col. Rainerio De Chavez and the NOCPPO Command Group.

In the regional level, the NOCPPO received the highest overall score of 97.94 percent in the UPER for the month of June among other seven provincial and city police offices under the Police Regional Office-6.

The ratings were based on different parameters in the administrative and operational police functions.

De Chavez lauded all the NOCPPO personnel for the accomplishment as he vowed to continue striving for excellence to maintain the quality of service to Negrenses. | GB
