A uniform rollback of P11.45 per liter of diesel and P5.45/L in the prices of gasoline will take effect March 22, oil companies announced this afternoon.

Unioil, PTT Philippines, and Jetti Petroleum will slash their diesel and gasoline prices effective 6 a.m. Tuesday, while Caltex Philippines will implement a similar decrease effective 12:01 a.m.

Caltex will also rollback the price of kerosene by P8.55 per liter.

The rollback will be the first for this year, after the 11 consecutive weeks of increases, including a record high P13.15 per liter of diesel, gasoline by P7.10/L, and kerosene by P10.50/L last week.

The price change varies in some locations, the oil companies said in their advisories, adding that the adjustment reflects the changes in the international oil market. | CGC
