The municipality of Don Salvador Benedicto in Negros Occidental posted on Friday afternoon, Oct. 22, photos of health personnel securing and burying the remains of a COVID-19 fatality.
It said the fatality was a 50-year-old female resident of Purok Ipil-Ipil in Barangay Bunga, and was unvaccinated against the deadly disease.
The town officials are encouraging everyone to get inoculated, to protect themselves and their loved ones. *
