The coronavirus disease cases in Negros Occidental continue to decrease, with 3,702 active infections recorded Oct. 23, from 3,948 the previous day.
The province, however, logged 38 deaths from 15 on Oct. 22, as shown in the graphics released by the Negros Occidental Provincial Incident Management Team.
On Friday, Oct. 22, the Department of Health has sent 7,340 vials, equivalent to 73,400 doses, of Moderna vaccines to Negros Occidental and Bacolod City. A vial of Moderna vaccine is good for 10 doses.
The vaccines were delivered by a Philippine Airlines cargo flight. — NND
