Upon reaching Purok Cesco, Indiape said the suspect bumped the motorcycle of the victims. When they fell to the ground, the suspect, who was armed with a .45 caliber pistol, shot the victims several times. Their minor daughter was unhurt.

The couple was declared dead on arrival at the Alfredo E. Marañon Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Sagay City, the police added.

Recovered at the scene of incident were four empty shells of a .45 caliber pistol.

Indiape said pursuit operations led to the arrest of Andrin, 33, of Brgy. Paraiso, Sagay City, based on positive identification of witnesses.

Jealousy is believed to be the motive behind the shooting incident, Indiape said, noting that the suspect was a former partner of Hanna Grace.

Andrin denied committing the crime, the police said.

The gun used in the commission of the crime was not recovered, Indiape said.

Meanwhile, a headless body of a man, believed to be a victim of summary execution, was found Saturday night along the Airport Access Road in Hacienda Sagrado 2, Brgy. Zone 16, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.

The head, with a gunshot wound, was found several meters away from the body that bore hematoma in the back and chest, the police report said, adding that the body was hogtied, clad in black pants without upper clothes, and with an “M.D. 4 BOYS” tattoo on his right shoulder.

The victim was later on positively identified at the Del Lourdes Funeral Homes by his mother as Mario Demetrio, 48, of Purok Sigay Magsungay in Brgy. Singcang, Bacolod City./GB
