The pump prices of petroleum products will increase anew this week, as fears about potential disruption to oil exports due to the escalating Israel-Iran war had already driven up prices.
Expect fuel prices to go up starting tomorrow, June 17, with the per-liter price of diesel to increase by P1.60 to P1.80, gasoline by P1.70 to P2, and kerosene by P1.30 to P1.60.
Exact price adjustments will be known today, June 16.
This will be the fifth consecutive week of increases for gasoline, and the fourth for diesel.
On June 10, the prices of gasoline and diesel increased by P0.60/L and P0.95/L, respectively, June 3 – P0.40/L and P0.30/L, May 27 – P0.10/L hike for gasoline, and P0.20/L rollback for diesel; and May 20 – P1.20/L and P1.70/L increase for both gasoline and diesel. | CGC
