The Civil Service Commission has approved the granting of three more days of Special Leave Privileges (SLP) to all employees of the Negros Occidental provincial government.
This is stipulated in the Collective Negotiation Agreement entered between the province and the Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees.
With this development, all provincial government employees will have a total of six days of SLP that can be used for accidents, birthdays, business transactions with other agencies, enrolment, graduation, hospitalization, mourning, relocation, weddings, and wedding anniversaries.
In a memorandum, Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said that all employees shall be granted an additional three days of non-cumulative SLP on top of the existing three day SLP to be enjoyed annually from Jan. 23 this year until Jan. 22, 2027.
The memorandum also stated that Capitol employees availing of SLP should file an application for leave in advance, which will be duly approved by the head of their respective offices. | GB
