Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson assured Palaro athletes of the provincial government’s full support, and advised them to stay focused on the game and enjoy the spirit of healthy competition.
Lacson met May 8 with the Bacolod Tay Tung High School Volleyball Team, that will represent Negros Occidental and Western Visayas in the upcoming Palarong Pambansa 2025, from May 24 to June 2, in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
Team captain Brianna Nikola Ang said they prepared well for the games and will give their best performance as a way of expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support they have received.
The team was accompanied by its manager, Jose Montalbo, the Capitol said in a press release. ||
