The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) recorded 46 fire incidents in Bacolod City from Jan. 1 to Feb. 13 this year.
A report of BFP-Bacolod showed that 30 of the fire incidents took place in January while 16 others were logged in the first two weeks of this month, with total damage placed at P8.911 million.
Some 28 of the 46 recorded fire incidents were categorized by the BFP as under minimal damage.
The fire incidents responded by the BFP and volunteer fire brigades included residential fires at 20; sugarcane and grass, six; rubbish and vehicular, five each; commercial fire, three; storage, business and electrical post, two each; and industrial, one. | GB
