The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) is geared up to ensure a safe and vibrant celebration of the Bacolaodiat Festival set to start on Tuesday, Jan. 28, along Lacson Street.

In collaboration with the local government unit of Bacolod City, festival organizers and other government agencies, the BCPO, in a statement, said it is committed to securing the colorful event.

To ensure a smooth flow of traffic, BCPO, in close coordination with the Bacolod Traffic Authority Office, will implement a comprehensive traffic management plan.

The BCPO Traffic Enforcement Unit will oversee road closures along sections of North Capitol Road and 5th St., extending to 15th St. and a portion of Aguinaldo St. to accommodate the festival’s main stage, food kiosks, activity hubs and other exciting attractions.

Under the leadership of PCol.  Joeresty Coronica, BCPO said it maintains a steadfast commitment to the mission to deliver a safe and memorable Chinese New Year experience for everyone.

With unity and careful planning, the Bacolaodiat Festival 2025 promises to be a celebration filled with joy, culture, and community spirit, it added. ||
