Bago City Mayor Nicholas Yulo was awarded by the Cooperative Development Authority during their Gawad Parangal 2022 held at Manila Hotel Oct. 28.
Yulo was recognized for “his unwavering support for cooperatives by creating conditions for effective partnership and providing financial support for cooperative development programs and initiatives”, the city said.
The mayor is the lone local chief executive in Western Visayas to be recognized by the CDA this year, it added.
The awarding ceremony capped off the observance of the National Cooperative Month this October by virtue of Republic Act 11502. ||
