Bacolod City’s newest, expansive events venue, capable of hosting large-scale gatherings and activations, is set to rise inside Megaworld’s 34-hectare The Upper East township.

The Green House by May Lee Events is a purpose-built events space with a total area of 7,668 square meters. It can accommodate up to 1,000 guests across its three main halls that can be configured to suit various event sizes.

The Green House will feature a main hall and two additional function halls for medium-sized events. It will also include a striking landscaped garden area suitable for ceremonies, cocktail receptions, and photo sessions.

The venue is equipped with a range of facilities to support seamless event execution. Each hall comes with a full sound and lighting system as well as a private room with powder rooms for couples or VIPs.

The Green House also offers well-appointed restrooms, spacious kitchen and prep areas for caterers, and an ample parking lot that can accommodate up to 80 vehicles.

Event organizers have access to an assistance desk, while security is ensured through on-site personnel and CCTV monitoring. The venue is also fully PWD-friendly and wheelchair accessible, making it convenient and inclusive for all guests.

Inspired by greenhouse and garden aesthetics, the structure will feature high ceilings, generous natural light, and landscaped surroundings, creating an open and refined atmosphere while ensuring year-round comfort. This distinctive design makes it a standout addition to Bacolod’s growing portfolio of premium event destinations.

The Green House offers easy access to nearby residential condominiums, restaurants, retail stores, and Landers Superstore, as well as the upcoming Kingsford Hotel Bacolod. The venue is also conveniently close to the city’s hotels, churches, and other key destinations, making it an ideal choice for weddings, corporate gatherings, and large-scale celebrations.

“We continue to raise the standard for lifestyle and experiences in Bacolod,” The Upper East township director Jogie Viceo said in a statement Jan. 29. “Through innovative spaces, such as The Green House, we are creating more opportunities for families, friends, and communities to come together, celebrate milestones, and share meaningful moments.” ||
