A student, who is categorized by the police as a high-value individual, was arrested during a buy-bust at Purok Kawayan 2 in Barangay Handumanan, Bacolod City on Friday (Jan. 17).
The apprehension of a certain “Jac” by operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office Drug Enforcement Unit yielded about 115 grams of suspected shabu valued at P782,000.
On Jan. 16, a similar anti-drug operation at Hacienda Granada in Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City, Negros Occidental led to the arrest of alias “Toto” and the recovery of eight sachets of suspected shabu, P500 in marked money and a black Rusi motorcycle.
Policemen arrested 10 drug suspects in separate buy-bust operations on January 15 in Negros Occidental, leading to the confiscation of P681,360 worth of suspected shabu.
Meanwhile, a laborer identified by the police as alias “Dondon” was also apprehended at Purok Buyong in Barangay Cabia-an, Candoni.
His arrest yielded a Colt caliber .45 pistol with a magazine containing five ammunition. | GB
