The Bacolod City Police Office Drug Enforcement Unit recovered 47 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated market value of P319,000, during a buy-bust operation in Barangay 4 Wednesday.
The police arrested Jay Lucasan, 46, a street level target residing in Purok Oraro of the barangay.
The operation was conducted after the police confirmed that illegal drugs are being sold in the area.
Lucasan is detained at the Police Station 2 custodial facility while charges are being readied against him.
The BCPO Station 4 DEU operatives also seized P102,000 in suspected shabu from a 36-year-old woman they arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Alijis, Bacolod Tuesday.
The suspect, identified as Michelle De Asis, alias Honey, of Purok Cheriza 2 in Barangay 27, Bacolod, yielded six sachets of suspected shabu and P1,000 in marked money.
