A 67-year-old American national facing a complaint for alleged alarm and scandal has been detained at the police custodian facility in Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
The complainant, a passenger bus driver, told the police that on May 29, the foreigner did a scandalous act when he hit with a cane stick the glass door of the Ceres Liner air-conditioned bus bound for Dumaguete City without any reason.
When the passenger bus stopped, he boarded and scolded the driver, which also caused discomfort and panic among the passengers, a report from the Pontevedra Municipal Police Station said.
The foreigner suffered injuries when he resisted arrest, it added. | GB
