Engr. Jose Maria Amugod of the Public Affairs Office said funding for the ongoing Panaad projects were approved in 2019 yet.

The first phase covers the renovation of the rubberized track oval, additional roofing structures of the Panaad main stadium, repair of concrete bleachers, renovation of the pool, covered courts, among others, added Amugod, who is also concurrent Panaad Park administrator.

It also included non-sports facilities, he added.

The province has been designated host of the 2022 Palarong Pambansa.

Most of the major construction and repair works are between 70 and 90 percent complete and 100 percent for road concreting and beautification.

There are minor works that are still up for bidding.
