A total of 1,034 personnel and force multipliers will be deployed by the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) for its Undas 2026 security operations, from Oct. 29 to Nov. 3.

The deployment includes 506 cops alongside government uniformed personnel, intelligence units, and partner forces stationed across cemeteries, transport terminals, and high-density public places.

“Bringing firearms and deadly weapons, consuming alcoholic beverages, gambling, and playing loud music through videoke machines or speakers are prohibited, subject to applicable regulations,” the police reminded the public.

Police assistance desks and hubs will be established citywide to assist visitors, returning residents, and cemetery-goers.

The police also advised residents traveling during the holidays to secure their homes by locking all entryways, switching off and unplugging electrical appliances, and requesting trusted neighbors to monitor their properties against potential break-ins. | TMD
