The Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (NOrPPO) installed new chiefs of police and key provincial staff officers during a mass turnover of office ceremony held at Camp Francisco Fernandez Jr. in Sibulan on July 9.
The ceremony was led by NOrPPO Provincial Director PCol. Timmar Alam.
Installed as chiefs of police were PLt. Col. Romeo Cubo for Guihulngan City Police Station, PLt. Col. Jul Mohammad Jamiri for Bais City Police Station, PLt. Col. Ricardo Tero as officer-in-charge of Tanjay City Police Station, and PMaj. Antonio Jabar for Jimalalud Municipal Police Station.
Also assuming new assignments as provincial staff officers were PLt. Col. Lirio Coral as deputy provincial director for operations, PLt. Col. Ser Ulrick Christian Gelera as head of the Provincial Intelligence Unit, PLt. Col. Kym Lopez as chief of the Provincial Operations Unit, and PLt. Col. Ian Paul Arapols as chief of the Provincial Investigation and Detective Management Unit.
In his message, Alam emphasized that the turnover of offices reflects the continuity of leadership, accountability, and operational excellence within the Philippine National Police (PNP).
He said the reassignment of key officials reinforces the PNP’s commitment to providing responsive, effective, and people-centered police service while strengthening peace and order efforts across Negros Oriental. | GPB
