Pin Diego, a proud Bacolodnon, made history again in the world of Jiu Jitsu.
A black belt in Jiu Jitsu, Doc Pin recently won another gold at the Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) Championship, Master 4 83kg Black Belt Division, with the competition held at the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, Arizona.
This great grandson of the founder of Candoni – Santiago Diego – came out strong and victorious in the competition as he recorded a 100 percent submission rate, when he tapped out his opponents during the championship.

ADCC is one of the biggest tournaments in Jiu Jitsu in the world, and Doc Pin, an alumnus of the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, made Bacolod and Negros proud of his most recent triumph in the world stage in martial arts.
This most decorated Jiu Jitsu fighter in the history of Negros always carries Negros, Bacolod, and Candoni with him whenever he competes.
Doc Pin said he is not just doing this for himself, family, or friends, but also to show that a Negros boy can also do it in the world stage through dedication and hard work.

He said his dream is to teach Jiu Jitsu to the military and law enforcement agencies in Negros as he is also a certified self-defense instructor.
“I want to share my knowledge, experience, expertise, and wisdom to all Negrosanons,” said Doc Pin, former councilman and tourism chairman of Candoni. ||
