Mayor Greg Gasataya said he expects improved public service delivery as the Bacolod government started the release of more than P199 million in financial benefits for city employees.
Gasataya signed Dec. 18 the disbursement orders for various incentives for release this month, including P45 million in Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) Incentive, P30 million Service Recognition Incentive (SRI), P8.815 million Productivity Incentive Allowance/Performance Enhancement Incentive (PIA/PEI), and 25 million in Performance-Based Bonus (PBB).
These bonuses will benefit regular and plantilla casual city government employees.

“We appeal to our regular employees as well as our job order workers to translate these additional benefits into improved public service. This is part of our commitment to recognize their hard work while ensuring that our people receive better and more efficient services,” Gasataya said in a city press release.
To ensure smooth financial operations, the mayor secured Department of Finance approval to extend Acting City Treasurer Gary Gecosala’s appointment, which was set to expire this year. He also thanked Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Juanito Victor Remulla for the agency’s swift approval of the Notice of Eligibility that allowed the PBB to be released within this year. ||
