The newly-completed municipal police station of Pulupandan in Negros Occidental was inaugurated during the ceremony led by PBrig. Gen. Arnold Thomas Ibay, regional director of Police Regional Office-Negros Island Region, on Dec. 15.
In a statement, Ibay said the event marked a milestone in strengthening police infrastructure and enhancing the delivery of public safety services in Pulupandan.
The inauguration and blessing, which was witnessed by PCol. Dennis Wenceslao, director of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, and Mayor Miguel Antonio Peña, highlighted the commitment of both the PRO-NIR and Pulupandan municipal government to provide a modern, functional, and accessible police facility.
“This will enhance operational readiness, improve personnel welfare, and ensure faster and more responsive police services for the community,” Ibay said.
He thanked Peña for his generosity and unwavering support, noting that the realization of the project reflects the strong and productive partnership between the local government and the Philippine National Police. | GB
