The Police Regional Office-Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR) yesterday honored four personnel of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office and Bacolod City Police Office in recognition of their outstanding performance in law enforcement operations.
PLt. Col. Mark Anthony Darroca, Silay City police chief, and PCpl. Benjie Buatag were conferred the Medalya ng Kadakilaan in recognition of their successful buybust operation on May 28 at Purok Mapisanon, Barangay Lantad, which led to the seizure of P700,982 worth of illegal drugs.
The Medalya ng Kagalingan was awarded to PCapt. Rosalino Pugoy and PSSg Serge Ballesteros for the arrest of the ninth most wanted person in the regional level in Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City on June 9.
The awarding ceremony was held at the parade grounds of PRO-NIR in Barangay Estefania, Bacolod City. | GB
