The topnotcher of the June 2025 Special Professional Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers in the Secondary Level, who is from Binalbagan, Negros Occidental, has received a P100,000 reward from Fifth District Rep. Emilio Bernardino Yulo.
Reyno Jison Abasolo, a graduate of Binalbagan Catholic College (BCC), ranked number one among the 399 passers, with a 90.60 percent rating.
Abasolo, a middle school Math teacher at the Presidential School in Uzbekistan, took the licensure examination in Dubai on June 8.
Yulo, whose legislative district includes Binalbagan, gave the cash incentive during Abasolo’s homecoming at the tribute program of the BCC to its board examination passers on Aug. 1.
“We hope he will serve as an inspiration to other students,” the lawmaker said. | GB
