CHMSU joins 2025 THE Impact Rankings

The 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings has recognized Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) in Negros Occidental for its contributions to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) globally.

On June 18, THE released the results, placing CHMSU in the 1001–1500 bracket for SDG 4 (Quality Education), 1001–1500 for SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and 1501+ for SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

The Impact Rankings of THE assessed 2,526 universities across 130 countries and territories, evaluating their progress toward achieving the United Nations SDGs.

CHMSU is one of the universities that participated in this year’s THE Impact Rankings, and was recognized to have contributed to the attainment of the SDGs globally, its press release said.

CHMSU continues to make a mark on the global stage through its commitment to inclusive, quality education, and meaningful partnerships.

This recognition reflects the university’s sustained efforts in advancing educational equity, empowering communities, and collaborating with local and international stakeholders to promote sustainable development for all. ||
