The Dumaguete Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) is accepting applications for business permits, provided that applicants have already downloaded and filled up the online application forms.
City Administrator Lilani Ramon urges business owners and entrepreneurs to follow the steps in processing the permits through BOSS in a simplified and cost-efficient manner since most of the concerned agencies are present in one location at the City Hall Compound.
The BOSS is open Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., the city said, adding that the deadline in applying for this year’s business permit is on Jan. 20, unless extended.
The City Treasurer’s Office has also started accepting business license/tax, and real property tax payments, and is issuing community tax certificates (cedula) professional tax receipts (PTR) and other clearances needed in securing the 2025 Mayor’s Permit.
Entrepreneurs are encouraged to process their permits early to avoid the last-minute rush to beat the deadline, and avoid incurring surcharges. ||
