173 Project Free scholars to graduate Dec. 12: USLS

The University of St. La Salle is set to hold its graduation rites for 173 Project Free (Flagships to Reach Educational Excellence) Program scholars on Dec. 12 at the St. La Salle Coliseum.

The graduands are part of the third batch of scholars, who are expected to receive their post-graduate degrees after completing all the academic requirements of this program.

Out of these scholars, 21 students will receive their doctorate degree, and 152 students are to earn their masters’ degree, the USLS said Dec. 10.

The University of St. La Salle will hold the graduation rites for 173 Project Free Program scholars at USLS Coliseum on Dec. 12.

The Project Free program is a joint partnership between the provincial government of Negros Occidental, the USLS, and the Department of Education. It gives public elementary and high school teachers of the province an opportunity to pursue masteral or doctoral degrees at USLS.

Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson, Project Free grantor, is expected to attend the graduation rites with DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara giving a commencement speech via video recording. ||
