The Bago City government, led by Mayor Nicholas Yulo and Vice Mayor Ramon Torres, turned over Aug. 30 a brand-new pick-up crew cab to the police, and two emergency patient transport vehicles to the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, all worth about P8 million.

The team also received firearms, ammunition, and accessories, worth about P4.55 million, from the city government early this year.
Yulo and Torres also turned over a total of almost P6 million worth of emergency patient transport vehicles to the CDRRMO, headed by Dr. Merijene Ortizo, at the City Hall.
The local government procured the vehicles at P2.999 million each, intended for the CDRRMO response operations, the city said in a press release.
Also present during the turnover Friday morning were Negros Occidental 4th District Board Member Andrew Martin Torres, 3rd District BM Manuel Frederick Ko, General Services officer Leo Pahilanga, and SWAT and CDRRMO personnel. ||
