The pump prices of gasoline products will continue to decrease this week, with diesel and kerosene also set to have downward movement.
Oil companies announced over the weekend that gasoline would go down by P0.50 to P0.70 per liter, diesel by P1 to P1.20/L, and kerosene by P1 to P1.40/L.
The exact adjustments will be known today, June 10.
This will be the second straight week of price cut for gasoline, following a P0.90/liter reduction effective June 4, even as diesel and kerosene logged a P0.60/liter and P0.80/liter increase, respectively.
The latest adjustments in the prices of gasoline and diesel resulted in a net increase of P6.65/liter and P5.45/liter, respectively.
Kerosene, on the other hand, has a net decrease of P0.25 per liter since the start of this year, as per the Department of Energy Oil Monitor. | CGC
