The Sangguniang Panlungsod thanked and commended the Philippine Red Cross Negros-Bacolod Chapter for their exemplary service during the 44th MassKara Festival celebration.
Councilor Em Ang, who authored the resolution of commendation with Councilor Jude Thaddeus Sayson, that was approved in the regular session of the SP this afternoon, Oct. 25, said the Red Cross personnel and volunteers played a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of those in attendance at the festival.
The Philippine Red Cross Negros-Bacolod Chapter provided quick response teams at various festival sites to attend to individuals who required medical assistance, thereby demonstrating their commitment to the welfare of citizens and visitors.
“The quick response teams acted with unwavering dedication, professionalism, and compassion, attending to the needs of participants, audience members, and MassKara dancers who were not feeling well during the festival events,” the resolution said, adding that the “safety and well-being of all participants, audience members, and dancers are of paramount importance during this grand celebration”. | CGC
