Two persons died in a shooting incident shortly before noon Tuesday, March 28, in Sitio Galo, Brgy. 5, Isabela, Negros Occidental.
The identities of the two victims have yet to be established by the Isabela Police Station, as of this time.
P/Capt. ArJay Darangan, Isabela police chief, said their initial investigations showed that the two victims, who were riding a motorcycle, came from La Castellana.
Both victims were reported by the police to have succumbed to multiple gunshot injuries.
Empty shells of still undetermined firearms were recovered by the responding Isabela policemen at the crime scene.
Witnesses said the victims appeared unfamiliar with the area as they asked questions about their location prior to the incident, Darangan said.
