The New People’s Army Armando Sumayang Command has issued a statement claiming responsibility for the death of a civilian, whom they accused as a government “intelligence asset”, Nov. 2 in Sitio Indangawan, Brgy. Manlucahoc, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
The victim, identified by the Sipalay City police as Dominadoc Tecson, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died on the spot after being shot several times by a lone gunman.
Tecson, 30, of Brgy. Mansuban-on of the city, was waiting for a ride at a waiting shed, when the gunman approached and shot him at close range.
In a statement, rebel spokesperson Ka Andrea Guerrero claimed that Tecson is an active military asset, whom she also linked to alleged illegal activities./GB
