A total of 164 fugitives have been accounted for by the police in Negros Occidental within 24 hours, under its Simultaneous Focus Police Operations.
Of the fugitives, eight were listed as Most Wanted Persons, while 156 are under the Other Wanted Persons category, the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office said.
The 24-hour series of manhunt operations took place Aug. 30.
The Victorias City Police Station topped the list among 31 city and municipal police stations with the most number of accounted wanted persons at 24, followed by the Bago CPS with 16, Escalante CPS 11, and the Isabela Municipal Police Station, San Carlos and Sagay CPS with eight each, making them among the top six performers./GB
