An Indian national reported to the police that he was robbed at gunpoint by two unidentified suspects on May 22 at Purok Overflow in Brgy. Blumentritt, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
The victim was identified by the Murcia police as Gurtej Singh, 35, a resident of Brgy. Villamonte, Bacolod City.
Singh alleged that he was waylaid by two unidentified suspects, with one of them armed with a gun.
At gunpoint, the Indian national was divested of his P10,000 cash by the suspects, who also took his red XRM motorcycle, police investigations showed.
Singh told the police that one of the suspects was wearing a helmet while the other one had a black cap on.
The two suspects fled on board the motorcycle taken from the victim.
Police recovered from the scene of the incident a spent shell and a deformed slug believed to be that of 9mm pistol./GB
