A buy-bust operation in Purok Santan, Brgy. Zone 12, Talisay City, Dec. 4, led to the arrest of Joel Duena, alias “Kulong”, 53, of the place.
His arrest yielded two grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P13,600, P400 in cash, marked money of P200, and a cellular phone, among others.
Duena is now locked up in jail.
Meanwhile, a case for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed today before the City Prosecutor’s Office against Dane Clyde Sasi, 24, of Purok Kabugwason in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City.
Sasi was nabbed with about 12 grams of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation Dec. 3 by operatives, led by P/Capt. Elmer Bonilla, in the barangay.
Recovered from his possession were five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu, worth P81,600, a coin purse, and P500 in buy-bust money. — GB, MML
