A total of 312 police personnel assigned at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office and the Bacolod City Police Office were promoted to the next higher rank.
P/Lt. Abegael Donasco, deputy spokesperson of the NOCPPO, said Dec. 8 that 244 police non-commissioned officers and four police commissioned officers were promoted.
P/Lt. Liberty Indiape, deputy spokesperson of the BCPO, said that 64 personnel were also promoted, 63 of them police non-commissioned officers, and P/Capt. Rondyl Tapang, who is the BCPO deputy chief for Mobile Patrol Unit.
Indiape said the pinning of ranks for newly promoted BCPO personnel has been tentatively set on Dec. 10, to be led by P/Col. Joseph Thomas Martir, BCPO acting police director. — GB
