Another member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class 1991, Col. Ted Dumosmog, takes over the command of the Philippine Army’s 303rd Infantry Brigade in Negros Occidental.

Dumosmog will succeed Brig. Gen. Orlando Edralin, who is retiring from the military service, as he reaches the retirement age of 57.

Edralin and his two predecessors, Brig. Gen. Michael Samson and retired Brig. Gen. Inocencio Pasaporte, as well as Maj. Gen. Marion Sison, commander of 3rd Infantry Division, and Brig. Gen. Leonardo Peña, former commander of 302nd Infantry Brigade, are also members of the PMA Class 1991.

Also a member of PMA Class 1991, Col. Ted Dumosmog takes over command of the 303rd Infantry Brigade commander, which previously commanded by his three other classmates at the country’s premier military academy.

Samson, commander of the 301st Infantry Brigade in Panay Island, is slated to occupy a higher position in the coming days while Peña is now the commander of the 11th Infantry Division in Mindanao.

Dumosmog also served as 403rd Infantry Brigade officer-in-charge and 4th Infantry Division assistant division commander for Reservist and Retiree Affairs, among other key positions in the Philippine Army.

Sison will preside over the 303rd Infantry Brigade change of leadership between Edralin and Dumusmog at Camp Major Nelson Gerona on Tuesday (Nov. 5) in Murcia, Negros Occidental. | GB
