Three minors were found dead after their home and 11 other houses were gutted by fire Tuesday night, Dec. 21, in Sitio Troso, Brgy. Bulwangan, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Initial investigation of the Bureau of Fire Protection showed that the three victims, aged 3, 7, and 9 years old, were all sleeping in one room when the fire occurred.
Their grandmother survived.
The BFP added that the fire reportedly originated from a burning candle left unattended inside the room of the children.
The damage caused by the fire has yet to be established by BFP arson investigators, as of this time. — GB
