About two million voters are expected to cast their votes in the synchronized barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE) in Negros Occidental, including the highly-urbanized city of Bacolod, today (Oct. 30), based on the figures of the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

Some 52 individuals were arrested by the police in Negros Occidental, including the highly-urbanized Bacolod City, for violation of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) gun ban since the election period started on Aug. 28.

More than P1/L decrease for diesel, gasoline up

A mixed movement in the prices of petroleum products is expected on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
Oil companies announced over the weekend that diesel could go down by P1.10 to P1.20 per liter, and kerosene by P0.70 to P1.10/L, while gasoline will increase by P0.40 to P0.60 per liter.
