Chinese New Year displays at city government center

The organizer of the 17th Bacolaodiat Festival in Bacolod City has beautified the grounds and fountain of the Bacolod Government Center with Chinese lanterns, lotus and tiger statues to usher in the Lunar Year of the Water Tiger.Oddette Ong-Gomez, chair of the Bacolaodiat Inc., said in a statement, that “no matter how simple, yet we hope to draw meaning and inspiration that the celebration of the Chinese New Year and the 17th Bacoloadiat Festival is still alive, even without the usual flares”.
