Bago City Mayor Nicholas officiated in the wedding of 149 couples in the “Kasalan 2024”, held at the city gymnasium Dec. 5.
The program was facilitated by the City Population and Development Office, headed by Ann Marie Torres, in partnership with the Local Civil Registrar, led by Meriam Huerva.
Vice Mayor Ramon Torres also graced the event.
In his message to the couples, Yulo underscored the importance of understanding and stressed that marriage is a journey of partnership and mutual respect.
Meanwhile, several lucky couples won houseware items during a raffle draw, sponsored by the city government, while Board Member Andrew Martin Torres donated sacks of rice.
Present during the activity were executive assistants Jom Somcio and Jorge Araneta, Abuanan punong barangay Michael Bermudez, and City Population and Development Office and Local Civil Registrar staff, among others. | Bago PIO photos
